How does McKesson support veterans?

We recognize and promote the outstanding contributions made by small and diverse businesses to the economic health and diversity of communities through the United States of America. These businesses include veteran-owned small businesses (VOSBs) and service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses (SDVOSBs). Through our company-wide subcontracting program, we encourage and facilitate small and diverse business sales opportunities through bid opportunities, veteran networking and outreach events, and more.

Additionally, McKesson supports our veterans throughout the year in a number of ways, including:

  • McKesson-sponsored Veteran and Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Supplier Diversity Forum / Webinars
  • Veteran’s Day acknowledgement and thank you
  • Participation, partnerships and boar memberships with organizations
  • Increased awareness through publications geared toward VOSBs and SDVOSBs
  • McKesson Military Employee Resource Group, a group for military veteran employees.
