  • Recognize a frozen section intraoperative reporting scheme for intracranial spindle cell tumors that turn out not to be meningiomas or schwannomas (a “new,” “known” entity).
  • Describe the 2016 WHO CNS tumor classification system, particularly for diffuse gliomas, and with the associated newly proposed reporting method for initial histology-based classification and delayed molecular reporting.
