Melanie Marcus is vice president of Strategic Marketing at McKesson Health Solutions (MHS), where she is responsible for go-to-market strategies for the Decision Management, Financial/Network Management, and RelayHealth Financial solution areas. Ms. Marcus leads a team that uses market intelligence and client insight to package, price and promote solutions across the MHS portfolio. In over 17 years with McKesson, her responsibilities spanned a variety of product management, strategy, sales and marketing roles in the payer and provider markets. Before joining McKesson, Ms. Marcus served in a corporate strategic planning and marketing role for Sutter Health, an integrated delivery system Northern California, where she worked with affiliate hospitals and medical groups. Earlier, she served in a similar capacity for Mount Auburn Hospital in Massachusetts. Ms. Marcus earned her A.B. from Bowdoin College, where she graduated magna cum laude and as a member of Phi Beta Kappa. She earned her MBA from Boston University, where she was the recipient of the Dorothy Willard Award as the top female graduate.
