Chuck Dowling has responsibility for physician services, specifically customers in The US Oncology Network relationship. Previously, he was the senior vice president of regional operations for US Oncology, serving the Texas Oncology physician practices - the largest practice in The US Oncology Network, with over 300 physicians, 40 cancer centers, 120 sites of service and 3000 employees.Dowling joined US Oncology, now McKesson Specialty Health, in July of 1999 and has helped the company grow from a practice management company into a comprehensive oncology solutions organization that touches nearly every aspect of advancing the quality of patient care and the science of cancer care. Dowling’s 35-year career includes experiences on both the product and service side of healthcare. He started his professional career with Baxter Healthcare, where he spent eight of his eleven years with the company as an expatriate, managing quality control and manufacturing operations in the Caribbean, Middle East, Europe and Asia. After Baxter, Dowling’s experiences included sales and marketing manager, Australian Filtration company; a manager of manufacturing operations for Cordis Corporation; a general manager for Caremark in their Home Infusion Therapy business; a regional vice president in Texas for Vitas Hospice, and just prior to US Oncology, a vice president for a home care and medical equipment provider in Dallas, Texas.
