Diana K. Verrilli is vice president of Payer and Revenue Cycle Services in McKesson Specialty Health. In this capacity she focuses on the development and execution of the company’s managed care and revenue cycle strategies for its national network of community oncologists. Verrilli was previously with the Corporate Strategy and Business Development group and supported the acquisition of US Oncology.Today, she directs the managed care contracting, revenue cycle optimization, patient assistance programs and other network programs that enable community oncologists to be successful as they navigate new payer policies, health care reform and reimbursement challenges.Verrilli has over twenty-five years of operating, business development and strategy experience in the health care industry. Before joining McKesson, Verrilli was a research associate at the Urban Institute, and published widely on topics related to physician reimbursement and comparative health system review. She conducted health services research and began her career at the Harvard School of Public Health where she worked for five years with William Hsiao, Ph.D. on the Medicare Resource-Based Relative Value Study. This study was the basis of a new physician payment system that CMS implemented in 1992.Verrilli has a master’s degree from the Harvard University School of Public Health and a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Smith College.
