Today, we are again taking the lead as we work with manufacturers and major retailers to test Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology that will track pharmaceutical products from the manufacturer to the wholesaler to the pharmacy.

In addition to more stringent wholesaler licensure standards and tougher criminal penalties for those who counterfeit drugs, RFID technology will limit the ability and opportunity for compromised or adulterated products to enter the pharmaceutical distribution network.
