McKesson Foundation |
|
Founded in 1943, the McKesson Foundation is dedicated to supporting our employees' community involvement efforts and improving the health of patients through improved healthcare quality, personal health management, and lower healthcare costs. Our current focus area is cancer, with a specific emphasis on organizations that provide non-medical direct services to low-income cancer patients in the U.S.
Each year the McKesson Foundation contributes more than $5 million to nonprofit organizations working to improve the health of our communities. Over the past three years, the Foundation has matched more than $2.4 million in employee donations to charitable organizations. Note to prospective grantees: Please note that to maximize resources and further our impact, we do not accept unsolicited grant proposals. If you feel that your organization is a perfect fit for our priority funding area (non-medical direct services to low-income cancer patients), you may send no more than one page describing your organization and funding needs to mckessonfoundation@mckesson.com. We will keep your submission on file and will notify you solely if we wish to obtain additional information or identify an opportunity for potential funding. |
