Founded in 1943, the McKesson Foundation envisions a world where affordable, quality healthcare is available to all.
The Foundation is dedicated to supporting our employees' community involvement efforts and improving the health of patients through:
- Improved healthcare quality
- Personal health management
- Lower healthcare costs
To that end, each year the McKesson Foundation contributes more than $5 million to nonprofit organizations working to improve the health of our communities.
Our main funding area is cancer, with a specific focus on organizations that provide non-medical direct services to low-income patients. We do not accept unsolicited grant proposals. However, if you feel that your organization is a perfect fit for funding, you may send us no more than one page describing your organization and your funding needs to mckessonfoundation@mckesson.com. We will keep it on file and will notify you only if we wish to gain additional information.
