Supplier Diversity

McKesson is committed to expanding opportunities to businesses that can provide us with exceptional services at competitive value and cost. Our Supplier Diversity Program takes care forward by opening the doors of opportunity to qualified small and diverse suppliers and businesses to meet our business needs and enhance the economic value of our customers.

We recognize and promote the outstanding contributions made by small and diverse businesses to the economic health and diversity of communities throughout the United States of America. These businesses include veteran-owned small business, service-disabled veteran-owned small business, HUBZone small business, small disadvantaged business, women-owned small business, minority-owned small business, and Ability One nonprofit agencies. Through our company-wide subcontracting program, we encourage and facilitate small and diverse business sales opportunities.

In addition to subcontracting opportunities, our Supplier Diversity Program supports the viability and growth of small and diverse businesses through contractual mentoring relationships that advance meaningful growth opportunities. In 1994, McKesson began a Mentor-Protégée program that provides extraordinary support and guidance to our small and diverse business protégés.
