JESSICA: Night Shift Supervisor job profile

Jessica thrives in the fast-paced environment of warehouse operations. “I love that every day is different and that I’m always learning,” she says. As a night shift supervisor, she oversees about 30 warehouse associates, and is responsible for the operational activities in the distribution center. “I’m always trying to think of new ways to make our processes more efficient and effective.”

Jessica began the Operations Management Development Program after graduation, where she found plenty of opportunities and camaraderie. “The six guys in my program were lots of fun and always willing to help me and share any information they could,” she says. “My supervisors care about their jobs and are very knowledgeable. Everyone is always willing to pitch in to achieve our goals.”

Ultimately, Jessica would like to become a warehouse operations manager. But she’d also like to help grow McKesson’s future by tackling special projects in addition to her managerial role.
