Operations Management Development Program

The Operations Management Development Program (OMDP) within McKesson Pharmaceutical develops new college grads during a nine-month rotational training program. You’ll also work on a professional development plan tailored to your goals.

OMDP Rotational Assignments

You’ll train in the following core areas:

Distribution Center Rotations: Cross-Functional Rotations:
  • Warehouse
  • Computer Room
  • Inventory
  • Regulatory and Security
  • Human Resources
  • Introduction to supervisory skills
  • Retail Sales
  • Health Systems Sales
  • Inventory Accounting
  • Customer Care
  • Regional Finance

After completing the program, participants interview for entry-level supervisor positions. You may be expected to relocate, but we’ll work with you to make the transition as easy as possible.

Personal and Professional Development Plan for OMDP Associates

During the management development program, we’ll help you create an individual plan that prepares you for broader roles within the business. Through on-the-job training, e-Learning and instructor-led sessions, OMDP participants will experience training in:

  • Six Sigma Greenbelt
  • Labor relations
  • Performance management
  • Presentation skills
  • Business writing skills

Education/Skills
B.A./B.S. in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or Operations Management
