Health Buddy Appliance

The Health Buddy Appliance from Robert Bosch Healthcare is a telehealth device that collects and transmits disease management information about a patient’s chronic condition including vital signs, symptoms and behaviors. Patients can be prompted to take required measurements with a variety of medical devices, including blood glucose meters, weight scales and blood pressure monitors. The Health Buddy Appliance automatically dials a toll-free number to send the information to a secure data center, where it is viewed by a home care clinician. A wireless modem option is also available for patients without a phone line or home Ethernet connection.
