From anywhere in the hospital, nurses use Connect-RN to control medication retrieval and administration. With a few simple clicks on the Horizon Admin-Rx™ device, the nurse automatically generates the list of medications to be administered and identifies the exact locations for all specified medications, including stationary or mobile medication cabinets, carts and other locations. Through Horizon MedComm-Rx order transmission system, nurses also can electronically notify pharmacy and prioritize missing doses, refill requests, schedule changes, overrides and other routine communications.
