Central Fill Solutions

Central fill prescription fulfillment centers produce patient HVS

ready prescriptions that are dispensed, packaged and delivered back to the local pharmacy. The central fill solution manages the "assembly" or fulfillment function of a prescription order. Prescriptions generally are filled in 30 day supplies and average 1.3 prescriptions per order. All high volume solutions include core software components such as a pharmacy system interface, process routing and audit capabilities.

McKesson offers mail service prescription fulfillment systems designed to process and mail completed packaged prescriptions directly to the consumers.
