The kiosk also confirms the patient’s identity to help prevent medical errors.

The patient reviews his data on the screen and verifies that his insurance information is correct. Next, he electronically signs his medical consent forms. The system is linked to his health insurance company, so he instantly knows how much of the cost he is responsible for paying and how much his insurance covers. Next, he swipes his Health Savings Account debit card to pay his required co-pay and deductible.
