NEWTON, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Healthcare stakeholders from across the country will gather at the 2008 McKesson Health Solutions Conference October 21–24 in San Antonio, Texas, to hear from leading industry experts on the most pressing issues facing payors and providers today. Mary R. Grealy, president of the Healthcare Leadership Council, a coalition of chief executives of the nation’s leading healthcare companies and organizations, will deliver the keynote address titled “Policy, Politics and Health Care: The Perils of Making Predictions.” Grealy, consistently ranked by Modern Healthcare as one of the 100 Most Powerful People in Healthcare, has an extensive background in healthcare policy and has led important initiatives on the uninsured, improving patient safety and quality, protecting the privacy of patient medical information and reforming the medical liability laws.
