InterQual Clinical Guidelines Used by Over 85 Percent of QIOs Across the Nation for Government Contracts or Private Business Lines McKesson today announced TMF Health Quality Institute has signed a new contract with McKesson Corporation for InterQual® Criteria and Health Services Advisory Group, Inc. has renewed its InterQual® Criteria contract. With these two new agreements, 46 Quality Improvement Organizations (QIOs) in 43 states plus the District of Columbia, the US Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico license InterQual care management criteria for Medicare programs, Medicaid initiatives, and private quality assurance programs. InterQual is the most widely used evidence-based clinical guidelines in the U.S., facilitating collaboration and greater transparency among healthcare providers, payors and government agencies in care management decisions.
