BROOMFIELD, Colo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--McKesson Health Solutions, a business unit of McKesson Corporation, has implemented a new program participant satisfaction survey tool developed by DMAA: The Care Continuum Alliance. DMAA’s survey tool, already in use by about a dozen major healthcare stakeholders, represents the first and only industry standard for measuring DM participant satisfaction. The new survey tool was developed by DMAA with guidance from industry experts and JD Power & Associates. “Using this survey helps McKesson better measure the satisfaction with our disease management programs and ensures consistency across all clients,” said Diana Verrilli, vice president, Business Development and Marketing Strategy at McKesson Health Solutions. The DMAA survey, which includes questions about care coordination and disease self-management knowledge, can be used for any DM condition and meets accreditation requirements. “Adoption of the DMAA Participant Satisfaction Survey speaks not only to McKesson’s commitment to delivering the best care possible, but also to the growing recognition of our survey as an industry leading tool for assessing program quality,” said Jeanette May, Ph.D., MPH, vice president of research and quality for DMAA.
