McKesson Launches Personal Health Advisor®, a Personalized, Population Health Service for Health Plans and Members

This new service uses personalized health programs, communications channels – online, text messaging, home phone or through the mail – and a 24/7 nurse advice line for acute health concerns to engage health plan members.

Personal Health Advisor helps health plans by:

• Increasing health plan member engagement;
• Decreasing health plan program delivery costs; and
• Integrating health plan care management solutions.

This is the central, secure repository for all of a member’s health and demographic information no matter the source, which can include a personal health record, health assessments, electronic medical record and other health data.
