McKesson’s Nurse Advice Line recently received Health Information Products Certification from NCQA. This certification program acknowledges McKesson Health Solutions role in providing services to NCQA-accredited health plans. Health plans that use services from an accredited Health Information Products vendor receive automatic credit for this standard when undergoing an NCQA accreditation survey. McKesson’s nurses answer 1 million health advice calls every year, and provide Nurse Advice Line services to nearly 30 million members across more than 40 commercial and government clients. “This certification is another indication of the high quality Nurse Advice Line services that McKesson provides to each of its customers.
