McKesson Pharmacy Systems Introduces its Next Generation Workflow System McKesson Pharmacy Systems (MPS), a business unit of McKesson Corporation, launched its next generation workflow product, Pharmacy Navigator, earlier this month. Pharmacy Navigator is a pharmacy software solution that facilitates control over the entire prescription process. The Pharmacy Navigator system comprises seven modules (Imaging, Filling, Checking, Virtual Will Call, Rx Tracker, Inventory & Replenishment, and the Dashboard), each of which may be sold separately to allow pharmacies to customize the workflow solution that best suits their operation. Pharmacy Navigator’s functionality allows pharmacies to enhance their operations management via advanced safety checks, patient care tools and an advanced reporting system that pulls data from various sources into one condensed, dashboard overview. Pharmacy Navigator is integrated with the MPS Pharmacy Management System, Pharmaserv®, and can also interface with automation and pharmacy management systems from other vendors.
