Oldest and largest healthcare company in North America to bring new opportunities to Greater Phoenix area residents Scottsdale, AZ – August 10, 2009—McKesson, a Fortune 15 company and Scottsdale’s second largest employer, is adding up to 200 new full-time positions from May through October 2009 in its state-of-the-art call center located in Old Town Scottsdale at the Galleria Corporate Centre. Openings include customer service representatives (CSRs), insurance reimbursement specialists and case managers, as well as some supervisor and quality assurance positions. In contrast to most call centers, McKesson’s Scottsdale 600-seat “Solution Center” is open Monday-Friday only, with shifts beginning at 5:00 am MT and the latest shift concluding at 6:00 pm MT. The McKesson Solution Center CSRs support 30+ custom programs for pharmaceutical manufacturers and work directly with physicians, caregivers and/or patients via telephone, email and written contact. CSRs work on patient assistance and drug safety programs that support patients with complex diseases such as cancer and rheumatoid arthritis, which require injected or infused drug therapy.
