Innovative technology used to gather physician feedback in evaluating bisphosphonate use Onmark , a leading national group purchasing organization (GPO) for community-based practices and a McKesson Specialty Care Solutions company, today announced it will present a clinical abstract based on a study featuring physician feedback on the evaluation of bisphosphonate use. Results from the study will be presented at the 46th Annual Meeting of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) at McCormick Place in Chicago from June 4-8, 2010. In the study, McKesson Specialty Care Solutions investigated a quality initiative across its Onmark membership of community oncology practices nationwide which measures intravenous bisphosphonate compliance and provided clinical education using Web-based drug dispensing technology with interactive physician queries.
