Tom will discuss the role of specialty pharmacies in the value-based care oncology setting. Innovation in quality oncology care delivery and payer-provider payment reform are among the critical issues being discussed at CBI’s Value-Based Oncology Management. In its 12th year, the forum continues to be led by a speaking faculty of trailblazers known for neutralizing rapidly growing cancer care costs and enhancing value and care delivery.
At McKesson Specialty Health, Brandon Tom is responsible for all business development and account management activity for the Specialty Pharmacy Solutions group and manages key relationships with biopharmaceutical manufacturers. His primary responsibilities include advising clients with complex therapies on their commercialization strategy, creating innovative partnership models and developing customized pharmacy programs which support product access to patients and prescribers. In addition, he is responsible for identifying new growth opportunities for the business. He is a licensed pharmacist in the state of California, earned a doctorate of pharmacy from the University of the Pacific and a bachelor of science from UCLA.
