Layne Martin, vice president and general manager of Specialty Distribution Solutions as McKesson Specialty Health is excited to partner with Cryoport at the Cell Gene Meeting on the Mesa in La Jolla, CA Oct. 4-6, 2017.

The panel discussion will cover system integration logistic management recommendations for a seamless launch of cell-based therapies. The Cell & Gene Meeting on the Mesa will host discussions between key opinion leaders, senior executives and top academic researchers. The program includes 60+ presentations by the field’s most promising companies and poster abstracts by leading scientists from around the globe. The panel discussion on System Integration Logistic Management will take place from 7:15 – 8 a.m. and will be chaired by Mark Sawicki, Ph.D, chief commercial office of Cryoport. Layne Martin’s role at McKesson Specialty Health involves overseeing the core distribution services, title 3PL and non-title 3PL services. His manufacturer relations team partners with pharmaceutical and biotech manufacturers to create distribution models tailored to drive value to key stakeholders in the evolving specialty marketplace. Layne holds a BA degree from Luther College and a MBA from the University of Michigan Stephen M. Ross School of Business.
