Volunteer Awards

McKesson recognizes employees who make a difference as volunteers, both at the workplace and in their communities.

Recognizing our Exceptional Volunteers

Each year, we honor McKesson employees who make deep impact in their communities through volunteering. Winners earn grants of up to $5,000 for the nonprofit organization of their choice. The program welcomes applications from colleagues in Canada, Europe and the U.S.

Formerly known as McKesson Community Heroes, this program has been renamed McKesson Corporate Impact Champions.

Meet three of our past honorees in the videos below.

  • Jack Covert

Jack Covert - Better Health for Our Communities

When Jack Covert's son could not find a robotics program at his school, Jack created one. Since Jack founded the Wolfpack Robotics, hundreds of students have increased their technical and business skills.

  • Leonora Kinsella

Leonora Kinsella - Better Health for Patients

Leonora Kinsella joined her friend Ade to create Hugh's House. Together, they built a haven of free temporary lodging for families who travel far from home to seek medical treatment for their child.
