FY2011
Corporate Citizenship Report
. Integral to improving the delivery of

healthy employees, operations, communities and the environment.
Designed to minimize paper and energy usage, the company’s online
interactive report shares McKesson’s corporate citizenship story through

FY2011 Report highlights:
- McKesson employees logged more than 18,500 of volunteer hours with
nonprofit organizations in their local communities
- 16,800 employees from 164 locations participated in McKesson Community
Days, the company’s annual employee volunteer week, assembling 28,000
care packages for active duty troops, wounded service members and
veterans in military hospitals
- McKesson Environmental Councils helped the Company realize $400,000 in
paper and toner savings through the “Paper Superheroes” campaigns
- McKesson replaced 6-cylinder vehicles with 4-cylinder vehicles in its
U.S. Pharmaceutical sales fleet, increasing MPG while decreasing fuel
consumption by 6% and annual CO2 emissions by 6%
- The McKesson Foundation provided $1.5M in grant funding to support
research focused on the use of mobile phones in chronic disease
management
- McKesson’s matching gift program experienced an 11% increase in
donations and a 57% increase in employee participation (over FY2010)
- McKesson’s enterprise-wide incorporation of TelePresence meeting
technology resulted in time & travel savings, as well as environmental
mitigation ($4,638,772 trip costs, 1,956 tons of CO2,
2,133,659 gallons of water)
