McKesson Community Heroes

McKesson recognizes employees who create better health for patients and make a difference as volunteers, both at the workplace and in their towns.

Recognizing our Exceptional Volunteers

Our McKesson Community Heroes program honors McKesson employees who create better health for patients, the planet or our communities. We recognize employees who make a difference as volunteers, both at the workplace and in their towns. The program is open to colleagues in Canada, Europe and the U.S.

The winners earn up to $5,000 for their charity or organization.

Meet three of our Community Heroes in the videos below.

  • Trenton, Ontario Distribution Center Returns Team - Better Health for Our Planet

The returns team at the Trenton, Ontario Distribution Center donates returned, unsellable medical-surgical supplies to their local underserved community.

  • Jack Covert - Better Health for Our Communities

When Jack Covert's son could not find a robotics program at his school, Jack created one. Since Jack founded the Wolfpack Robotics, hundreds of students have increased their technical and business skills.

  • Leonora Kinsella - Better Health for Patients

Leonora Kinsella joined her friend Ade to create Hugh's House. Together, they built a haven of free temporary lodging for families who travel far from home to seek medical treatment for their child.
