This year’s 340B Coalition Winter Conference, widely considered the premier event for 340B stakeholders, took place in San Diego from February 24th to 26th. With over 1,600 attendees, this gathering united a diverse community of covered entities, pharmacies, service providers, drug companies, and government officials – all committed to advancing the 340B program and ensuring care for patients in need.

Three of our McKesson Health Systems 340B experts—Chris Shain, Heather Easterling, and Felicia Boodram—joined our Macro Helix team at the McKesson booth for the two-day event. Together, we met with leading health systems and 340B professionals across more than 75 of our health system customers, focusing on strengthening relationships, conducting demos, and gathering valuable feedback for our 340B Impact platform. These discussions centered on understanding the unique needs of each of these health systems and enhancing the user experience overall.

Key takeaways from the conference included:

  • The importance of the 340B program's impact on health systems and their patients
  • The value of face-to-face interactions for building stronger relationships
  • Insights into the rebate environment and potential changes to be monitored.
