James Snyder is a health-system pharmacy executive and advisor focused on retail and infusion strategy, helping health systems navigate structural shifts in access, care delivery, and economics. His work centers on designing pharmacy models that expand patient access while delivering durable, enterprise-level performance.

Prior to joining McKesson, James spent more than a decade in progressive leadership roles at Mercy Health, where he led home infusion operations across multiple markets and oversaw a multi-site retail pharmacy portfolio. In these roles, he drove measurable growth in patient access and capture rates, strengthened operational performance, and consistently aligned pharmacy strategy with system-wide financial and operational priorities.

At McKesson, James partners with health-system pharmacy leaders to advance retail and infusion strategies that reduce friction across the care continuum and support intentional site-of-care design. His advisory work spans retail pharmacy growth and access, infusion site-of-care optimization, and the integration of pharmacy services into broader ambulatory and outpatient care models.

James holds a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the University of Toledo and an MBA from Louisiana State University–Shreveport and is a Board Certified Sterile Compounding Pharmacist.
