McKesson was named on Newsweek’s list of “America's Greatest Workplaces for Diversity” in 2023, a scored list of 1,000 companies that employees say respect and value different kinds of people. In addition, McKesson was among just 337 companies that received a 5-star rating.
The list was curated by Newsweek and market data research firm Plant-A Insights, across six economic sectors. Information was collected using publicly available data, interviews with Human Resources professionals, and a large-scale employee study to develop the list. Survey respondents were asked questions about corporate culture, working environment, work-life balance, training and career progression, compensation and benefits, sustainability, and diversity.
