Dave Ehlert

Dave Ehlert and his team have accountability for managing health system distribution customer relationships in an 18-state market area in the central area of the United States. He has been with McKesson for more than 20 years and has fulfilled positions of increasing leadership responsibility and scope throughout his career.

Ehlert received his Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy with highest distinction and his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. He completed two post-graduate pharmacy residencies including a Post-Graduate Year 1 (PGY1) Pharmacy Residency at Aurora Health Care in Milwaukee, WI and a Post-Graduate Year 2 (PGY2) Pharmacy Residency in Drug Policy and Medication Use System Management with the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics and McKesson Medication Management.

In 2013, Ehlert was honored as a Carlson Scholar and received his Master of Business Administration from the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management. He is a fellow of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP). Ehlert has also authored multiple peer reviewed journal articles and textbook chapters and has been appointed to numerous ASHP committee and council leadership roles. He currently serves on the Board of Visitors for the University of Wisconsin School of Pharmacy.
