Andrew Wilson

Dr. Wilson currently leads MHS’ Professional & Advisory Services (P&AS) team, having previously served as VP of 340B Solutions. The P&AS team is comprised of a broad cross section of experts in health system pharmacy that leverage a diverse set of skills, tools, solutions, and capabilities to help healthcare leaders zero in on their most important challenges and their greatest opportunities to improve the business of pharmacy.

Prior to McKesson, Dr. Wilson served as senior manager at Ernst & Young, chief pharmacy officer of the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, MD, director of Pharmacy Services at the Virginia Commonwealth University Health System and associate dean and associate professor, at the School of Pharmacy, Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA.

Dr. Wilson has more than 25 years of healthcare operations experience as a pharmacy director in academic medical centers and integrated health systems. He has extensive 340B and pharmacy supply chain experience and has served as a member of the Executive Committee of the Safety Net Hospitals for Pharmaceutical Access (now 340B Health) and as Chair of the Hospital Advisory Board of the 340B Prime Vendor Program (Apexus).

Dr. Wilson is the author of more than 60 articles, books, chapters and editorials in medical and pharmacy literature including: The 340B Program Handbook (American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP), 2018) and Financial Management for Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP, 2008)
