By: Stephen Stalker

Last month, McKesson’s Vice President of Drug Shortages, Stephen Stalker, discussed strategies for managing drug shortages on a panel alongside health system leaders at the Becker’s Healthcare Annual Meeting. From efforts to increase data inputs and transparency across the supply chain to centralized pharmacy fulfillment centers for greater inventory visibility and management, the panel focused on solutions to support providers and minimize patient impact. Stephen was joined by Nilesh Desai, Baptist Health System; Michelle Holm, PharmD, Mayo Clinic; Melanie Massiah-White, Inova Health System; and Gerald Rebo, PharmD, Novant Health. Check out a recap of the panel in “Pharmacy leaders talk drug shortages: 4 insights on managing supply + patient impact” by Becker’s Healthcare.
