Heather Easterling

Heather Easterling leads the Professional and Advisory Services (P&AS) 340B Solutions & Customer Contract Experience team, building direct customer support and guidance on 340B program optimization, as well as developing and implementing Health and Vitality metrics and management strategies for MHS customers.

Previously, Dr. Easterling served on McKesson's 340B Solutions team, having joined McKesson’s 340B Solutions team in 2021 from the McKesson Health System Team at MUSC Health where she served as the system administrative officer for Pharmacy Services, Assistant Dean for Medical Center Affairs for the MUSC College of Pharmacy and director of Graduate Pharmacy Education. She has an extensive background in 340B and co-authored a chapter on Retail and Specialty Pharmacy in the ASHP 340B Handbook in addition to other publications and presentations. Most recently, she authored ASHP’s 340B Program Handbook: Integrating 340B into the Health System-Pharmacy Supply Chain, 2^nd Edition. As a former pharmacy leader of the key academic medical center in South Carolina, Dr. Easterling brings deep insight and experience in health system pharmacy programs and leadership.

Dr. Easterling earned her doctorate in pharmacy from the Medical University of South Carolina College of Pharmacy and her MBA from The Citadel Graduate College. She has also completed a 24-month pharmacy practice management residency at MUSC.
