This model builds upon the foundation of the previous Oncology Care Model (OCM) by emphasizing care coordination, health equity, and evidence-based interventions to enhance patient outcomes. Participating oncology practices receive performance-based payments tied to quality metrics, including patient-centered care, addressing patient risk utilization, and equitable access to care.
