Lifetime Achievement award winner Randy McDonough, developed a Medication Therapy Management service through the Iowa Medicaid program with more than 150 patients receiving regular medication reviews.
Parata Systems and Pharmacy Times partnered to create a national award program to recognize and honor pharmacists, technicians and student pharmacists who embrace and embody the future vision of the industry. Pharmacy Times Editor-in-Chief and national thought leaders in pharmacy evaluated eight categories applicable to pharmacists including Entrepreneur of the Year, Green Pharmacist of the Year, Civic Leader of the Year, Patient Advocate of the Year, Technology Advocate of the Year, Industry Advocate, Rising Star of the Year and Lifetime Achievement. The panel used a point-value system to rank candidates’ qualifications against the award category criteria. The full list of winners appears in the October issue of Pharmacy Times.
