North American Pharmaceutical is McKesson’s pharmaceutical distribution segment serving the United States and Canada. It brings together wholesale drug distribution businesses that help ensure medicines and therapies are delivered safely, reliably and on time. 

Through a digitally connected distribution network and extensive physical infrastructure, this segment supports the delivery of branded, generic, specialty and biosimilar medicines throughout retail and community pharmacies, specialty care settings, hospitals and health systems. 

North American Pharmaceutical partners with pharmaceutical manufacturers, pharmacies, healthcare providers, governments and other stakeholders to deliver insights, products, technology and services. Its role spans logistics, distribution and data‑driven support designed to keep healthcare moving and medicines available where patients need them.

Oncology and Multispecialty

Oncology & Multispecialty is McKesson’s segment that delivers integrated solutions that support patient care by accelerating drug development, expanding access to high-quality care close to home and ensuring life-saving therapies reach the patients who need them most.  

Oncology & Multispecialty provides practice management, technology solutions, specialty drug distribution, clinical trial and group purchasing services, along with pharmacy solutions for community-based oncology practices and multispecialty providers in retina and ophthalmology. We partner behind the scenes with healthcare providers in local communities, supporting their operations so that they can stay focused on who matters most – patients.

Prescription Technology Solutions

Prescription Technology Solutions (RxTS) is McKesson’s segment that helps solve medication access, affordability and adherence challenges for patients by working across healthcare to connect patients, pharmacies, providers, pharmacy benefit managers, health plans and biopharma companies.  

RxTS serves our biopharma and life sciences partners, delivering innovative solutions that help people get the medicine they need to live healthier lives. Additionally, RxTS offers prescription price transparency, benefit insight, dispensing support services, third-party logistics and wholesale distribution support.

Medical-Surgical Solutions 

Medical-Surgical Solutions is McKesson’s segment that is a leading provider of medical-surgical supplies, laboratory equipment, and pharmaceutical distribution, logistics and other services to non-acute settings in the U.S. These include physician offices, surgery centers, long-term care providers, laboratories, home health and hospice agencies, health systems, government facilities, and online marketplaces and retailers. Medical-Surgical Solutions offers more than 270,000 national brand medical-surgical products as well as McKesson’s own line of more than 4,000 high-quality products.
