Supplier Engagement

Our inclusive approach to supplier relationships.

Our Supplier Diversity Commitment

Nimesh Jhaveri, R.Ph., EVP and Chief Impact Officer

At McKesson, we are committed to sourcing quality products and services for our customers and employees. Our business is able to do well by doing good — meaning that we seek collaborative, win-win solutions with our supplier partners.

We work with a wide variety of suppliers to advance new ideas with speed. We support the economic growth and development of the communities in which they operate and serve. These suppliers help McKesson fulfill its purpose — Advancing Health Outcomes for All®.

We actively seek to grow our existing supplier partnerships, as well as creating new relationships as needed by our business, by providing all qualified suppliers the opportunity to compete for contracts with McKesson. In addition, in furtherance of federal contracting requirements, we undertake good faith efforts to engage with and provide equitable business opportunities for consideration for the following types of suppliers:

Enhancing Our Ability to Support Our Aspirations

Our focus through this program is on the growth of supplier partners that are small, owned by veterans or women, or located in historically underutilized business zones, as designated by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA).

Veteran and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses and HUBZone Small Businesses require pre-certification by the U.S. Small Business Administration. Information about certification requirements can be found at SBA Certify - Small Business Administration.

McKesson is a leading diversified healthcare services company. We look for vendors that can support both the Indirect and Direct aspects of the business.
