Supplier Diversity Commitment – Chief Impact Officer

At McKesson, we are committed to sourcing quality products and services for our customers and employees. Our business is able to do well by doing good – meaning that we seek collaborative, win-win solutions with our supplier partners. While companies of our size can struggle with innovation, we work with diverse and small partners to advance new ideas with speed. By working with historically economically disadvantaged businesses, we support the economic growth and development of the communities in which they operate and serve. These suppliers help McKesson fulfill its purpose – Advancing Health Outcomes for All®.

We actively seek to grow our existing supplier partners as well as creating new relationships as needed by our business. Our Supplier Diversity program includes the following classifications:

  • Small
  • Small Disadvantaged
  • Woman-Owned
  • Veteran-Owned and Service-Disabled Veteran
  • HUBZone
  • Minority
  • LGBTQ+
  • Persons with Disability

Vendor Registration:

We encourage prospective vendors to register on our online Supplier portal - STARS. Successful registration is not a guarantee of business or a promise of future consideration. The database is used as a tool to search for potential vendors when our procurement teams are seeking suppliers for products or services.

Veteran Owned, Service -Disabled Veteran Owned and HUBZone verification.

Veteran and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses require additional validation by the SBA. Please contact vetcert@sba.gov if you have any questions. HUBZone suppliers must be in a Federally designated zone to qualify for the HUBZone classification for McKesson’s Supplier Diversity program.
