Our Business Segments

U.S. Pharmaceutical

Our U.S. Pharmaceutical segment distributes branded, generic, specialty, biosimilar and over-the-counter (OTC) pharmaceutical drugs, and other healthcare-related products in the United States. We provide practice management, technology, clinical support and business solutions to community-based oncology and other specialty practices. Additionally, we sell financial, operational and clinical solutions to pharmacies (retail, hospital and alternate sites) and provide consulting, outsourcing, technological and other services.

Medical-Surgical Solutions

Our Medical-Surgical Solutions segment merchandises and distributes medical-surgical supplies, pharmaceuticals, laboratory equipment and supplies to non-acute care settings in the United States. These include physician offices, surgery centers, long-term care providers, laboratories, home health and hospice agencies, health systems, government facilities, and online marketplaces and retailers. We offer more than 285,000 national brand products as well as McKesson’s own line of high-quality products through our network of U.S. distribution centers.

Prescription Technology Solutions

Our Prescription Technology Solutions (RxTS) segment helps solve medication access, affordability and adherence challenges for patients by working across healthcare to connect patients, pharmacies, providers, pharmacy benefit managers, health plans and biopharma companies. We serve our biopharma and life sciences partners, delivering innovative solutions that help people get the medicine they need to live healthier lives. Additionally, we offer prescription price transparency, benefit insight, dispensing support services, third-party logistics and wholesale distribution support.

McKesson International

Our International segment provides distribution and services to wholesale, institutional and retail customers in Europe and Canada. Our team in Canada partners with pharmaceutical companies, care providers, pharmacies, manufacturers, governments and others to deliver insights, products and services to help make quality care more accessible and affordable including through specialty healthcare, banner support programs and technology solutions.
