Supporting Cancer Care
We are committed to leading with purpose and making a difference for the millions of people who are living with cancer today.
Guided by our values, we are an impact-driven organization that improves care in every setting – one product, one partner, one patient at a time.
Through our core commitments, we are leveraging our scale for the greater good, such as serving the needs of our stakeholders, donating back to our communities, protecting our planet, working with policymakers, and more.
Every year, we publish updates to our commitments through our Impact Report.

McKesson Canada’s INVIVA, Canada’s largest private infusion network, is making a tangible difference in the community and patients with its ongoing initiative. INVIVA launched an innovative pilot program to address the impact of barriers to care for eligible infusion patients. Two clinics in Ontario are actively participating and collaborating with local partners to provide essential support for patients. This includes arranging transportation to and from appointments, as well as delivering weekly produce for up to a year during treatment. By increasing these touchpoints, INVIVA aims to significantly enhance the patient experience and improve patient outcomes, demonstrating McKesson's commitment to advancing health outcomes for all.
Together with The US Oncology Network, we’re proud supporters of ACS’s new program, Leadership in Oncology Navigation, a national training and credentialing program that works with oncology organizations to standardize high-quality, expert care navigation for patients.
The program seeks to achieve consistent and reliable cancer navigation nationwide through standardization of training based on best practices.
Every year, McKesson participates in the Fit2Be Cancer Free Challenge benefitting ACS and the Canadian Cancer Society. In the challenge, companies compete to take as many steps as possible while raising awareness for cancer prevention and treatment. In fact, for years, we’ve been the top performing company. For every employee registration, we contribute $10 to the relevant cancer society on the employee’s behalf.
During an event in Dallas, Texas, Brian Tyler, CEO, McKesson, generously presented a $200,000 donation to Jeff Fehlis, executive vice president of the American Cancer Society (ACS) South Region.
This donation is aimed at supporting the ACS Hope Lodge Program, which provides a comforting and supportive environment for cancer patients while they undergo treatment.
ACS Hope Lodges serve as a home away from home, offering solace and care to those who need it most.
The mission of the McKesson Foundation (“The Foundation”) is to remove barriers to quality healthcare across North America, with a special focus on vulnerable and underserved communities.
