We actively seek to grow our existing supplier partnerships, as well as creating new relationships as needed by our business, by providing all qualified suppliers the opportunity to compete for contracts with McKesson. The database is used as a tool to search for potential vendors when our procurement teams are seeking suppliers for products or services.
Our focus through this program is on the growth of supplier partners that are small, owned by veterans or women, or located in historically underutilized business zones, as designated by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA).
